Chery was recognized as the ‘Pioneering Chinese Global Brand’, the only brand in the automotive sector to win the award, at the Kantar BrandZ China gala held in Shanghai. The event attracted over 1,000 brand builders, financial executives, and top-tier media worldwide.

The 2024 Kantar BrandZ China Gala aims to recognize brands with outstanding performance in various industries in line with globalization efforts. The ‘Pioneering Chinese Global Brand’ spans six industry sectors, with only one winner per sector. Chery received the award following Kantar BrandZ’ evaluation of its sustained growth and innovation performance worldwide. Another factor in Chery’s win is its continuous investment in technological innovation and product R&D. It established eight R&D centers and more than 300 laboratories around the world to provide the most suitable high-quality solutions for users in different countries and regions.

Chery's commitment to the global market has led to the export of products to more than 80 countries and regions, with double-digit growth in sales. Supported by its global R&D centers and localized market strategies, Chery helped establish a new image for Chinese automotive brands on the international stage.

Chery's overseas exports have accounted for nearly 50% of its total sales, maintaining its position as China's top passenger car exporter for 21 consecutive years.
