Dr. Bijan Majidi, Motorcity General Manager welcomed the qualifiers Mr. Faraan Irfan and Mr. Alan Vandewater to brief them on the detailed program scheduled at Shanghai for the Volvo World Golf Challenge Finals. The event will take place between 25th and 30th of April 2015. Both Faraan and Alan have received an invitation to attend the 5-day World Final in Shanghai, as winners of the Bahrain Chapter of Volvo World Golf Challenge. The finals scheduled at Shanghai would be an unforgettable golfing occasion for both of them and will provide them a chance to be crowned world champions.
Dr. Bijan Majidi said at the event: ‘We wish our Bahrain qualifiers a successful tournament in China and the very best of luck representing Volvo Bahrain.’
The Challenge took place over 6 qualifying rounds from January 2014 and has seen a participation of total 720 players. The final round was played over 18 holes at the highly acclaimed Colin Montgomerie-designed championship course in December 2014.
The 2015 chapter of Volvo World Golf Challenge is scheduled to start from April 2015 onwards which will include 3 qualifiers. The finals will be played on 14th November 2015.
