Bahrain, December 2015 – Ebrahim K. Kanoo tied up with the Bahrain Triathlon Club as one of their key sponsors for the 2015-2016 season. As part of this on-going partnership Ebrahim K. Kanoo helped supply the team with competition and training kits and sponsored their training camps and international coaches to help them achieve greater success and compete in local, regional and international sport events.
Around 100 members participated at the first Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championship Bahrain on Saturday December 5th, 2015. The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee.

This triathlon, the first of its kind in the Middle East, a unique point-to-point triathlon passed by the Kingdom’s significant new and historic attractions was a huge success with over 1,000 athletes from all over the world watched by thousands of fans across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Ebrahim K. Kanoo has always focused its efforts to support sports activities and help athletes from novice to professional level to reach their full potential and develop their overall skills, as well as to motivate more involvement in social and sporting events.
